Call For Participation // Guidelines

To maintain the artistic integrity of AIGA Toledo and The Art Commission’s projects, there are a few requirements for participating in the You Are Here Toledo Project. All interested participants MUST submit a digital portfolio of at least three (3) examples of their work in the form of a PDF(s) or JPEGs by Tuesday, January 31, 2012. If selected for the project, you will be notified by Tuesday, February 7, 2012 and then will be assigned a “dot” location for which you will create your artwork in response to. Final artwork will be due Friday, March 16, 2012

IMPORTANT DUE DATES:

Call Notifications :: February 7, 2012

Final Artwork :: March 16, 2012

All submissions will be collected in digital format for the participation call and for final output.

Eligibility:

Designers, photographers and artists who reside in Allen, Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood, and Wyandot counties in Ohio, and Lenawee and Monroe counties in Michigan.

Guidelines:

  • Please make a JPEG or PDF of your work no larger than 10MB for your online submission.
  • Fill out the submission form and be sure to proper label your file with your name.

Permission to Reproduce Work

By submitting work to the You Are Here project, the participant acknowledges the right of AIGA Toledo to use accepted work for reproduction in competitions-related publications; on its website; in the ensuing exhibition of the competitions’ selections; and for educational and AIGA-related promotional purposes.
